OUR STORY

We're a family owned campground established in 1974 by Shade (S.Y) and Lucille Dorminey with the help of their son, Donn Dorminey. The campground sits on the property that use to be the old family farm and homestead of the Dormineys. The property dates back over 6 generations of Dormineys and has many stories to go with the age of the property. One of those stories involves our beautiful seven acre lake that is spring feed from underground. We have Bass, Catfish and Brim fish stocked in our lake for fishing from our banks. Along with the lake we have 82 Sites through out our campground, of those 82 sites, 54 sites are pull-through, water, electric and sewer. We also have a beautiful tent area with 18 sites that are water and electric, we are currently renovating our tenting area for a much easier access to the hook-ups. Included in one of our amenities is our fenced in dog area that you can let them off the leash and let them stretch their legs from the long trip. For those that have kids we have a giant playground for them to run and play on for them to get all that energy out on. We try to keep our Campground relaxing and family friendly for everyone. We are currently under new management and they are of the fifth generation to be part of living on the property.

This is a nice overnight RV park. Cheap at $35. Hookups worked and easy in and out. Quiet. Level. Nice neighbors. Wish more RV parks would offer low rates for us travelers.... many of us are self contained and do not need toilets or showers etc.

Excellent place. Will refer to friends.

Easy check in process. A bit confusing at first, but we've never camped before so it's a learning curve, clean, nice amenities. Womens restroom was locked but mens was open. Extremely reasonable rates. All self service.
